Ginosko Ministries
 “Ginosko”
(gi-nös-kö) is the Greek verb for “knowing.”
The concept embodied in the word extends beyond mere intellectual
knowledge to include intimate and experiential knowledge.
Fourteen
years ago, while serving as associate pastor of a church on Long
Island, John Revell established and embraced the following as his
life goal:
To
know and love God and His Word as much as possible,
And to help as many as possible do the same.
The
pursuit of that goal led him and his family to S. Florida where
he pastored for seven years, and then to the Southern
Baptist Convention Executive Committee where he has served as
Associate Editor of SBC
LIFE for the last six years. It also led him into a consistent
and intentional deeper study of God’s Word, not just for more
facts and biblical data, and not merely for sermon and lesson preparation,
but to know and love Him more.
 Ginosko
Ministries flows out of that goal. The logo is the Greek letter
“gamma,” the first letter in Ginosko, over an open Bible.
It is John’s desire that the products and information you
find here will draw you into a deeper understanding and appreciation
of God’s Word, and thereby a closer relationship with HIm.
